Life After from Kosovo 2.0 on Vimeo.

By: Kosovo 2.0

Back in 2003, the Geriatric Center of Kosovo was the only place where Serbian directors Živojin Ćelić and Srđan Slavković could find Kosovar Serbs and Albanians living in peace under one roof. Today, that’s no longer the case. Slowly, but steadily, relations are changing.

Nevertheless, “Life After” tells a story worth watching for all of us. It tells about people of different ethnicities, who live together in a geriatric center and share a common problem: they have been forgotten
by the world.

As a result, they’ve decided to focus on making acquaintances and friendships. How that is possible and their advice, you’ll find in the documentary.

The story of “Life After” isn’t peculiar to Kosovo; it can be found in places all over the world. It shows how sometimes, greater problems require people to solve them together, despite of their differences. It shows how people who have lost everything during or after the war, still have the strength to give advice on how to live together.
