The promotion of the second publication of Adem Demaci's "Snakes of Blood" was held at Hotel Victory. "Snakes of Blood" was first published in 1958. While the author was in prison his book was inducted into the index of "subversive material" by the Yugoslavian State Security Administration (UDBA).

According to a report by the EU-sponsored European Late Effects Project (EULEP), Kosovo's agricultural land is contaminated and the consumption of local agricultural products presents a real risk to the lives of Kosovars. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development the results of the study do not have a scientific basis. EULEP has proven that agricultural land is contaminated above allowable levels with heavy metals, specifically chrome, nickel, lead, zinc and arsenic. A high concentration of these pollutants is allegedly present throughout Kosovo.

Kosovar professor Xhevdet Elezi, who took part in the EULEP project to investigate agricultural land contamination, explains the validity of the report's results. According to Elezi, the samples collected signal that the land is contaminated. He warns that heavy metal contamination can work its way through the food chain to people.

The World Bank published a report titled the “Development and Evaluation of Power Supply Options for Kosovo.” The report, which was created by a team from consulting firm DHInfrastructure and reviewed by the World Bank, considers several combinations of alternative energy for daily and seasonal needs.

In honor of the fourth anniversary of Kosovo's independence, the Kosovo Art Gallery opened Ismet Jonuzi's exhibition “From Lines to Forms”, curated by Eqrem Basha. The exhibition was accompanied with the music of Ethnically Plugged, a band of well-known kosovar musicians who specialize in reworking traditional songs. Art lovers can see Jonuz's work until March 17.

The Hajrizi family forgave the blood of the Isufi family from Klina e Mesme in Skenderaj. Hata Hajrizi lost her three sons, soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army, to war. In 2005, her eldest son Xhavit was murdered while working as a forest ranger by a member of the Isufi family. Seven years after his death, Hata and her children have decided to forgive his blood.

The leader of the Self Determination Movement, Albin Kurti, closed the protest by talking about the results of this agreement between Prishtina and Belgrade.
