It is often said that teachers are hired based on political party affiliation and that leadership positions are given as political favors.
Part of the problem seems to be a mindset that if you are raised in Kosovo's system, you cannot succeed.

Egzon Gashi
Egzon Gashi was born in Kosovo but raised and educated in the United States. He completed the Teach For America program in the United States in 2014 and moved back to Kosovo in June 2018 to found the Teach For Kosova program. Egzon has a master’s degree in education from Johns Hopkins University and is the current chief executive officer of Teach For Kosova.
